You will not the term "feminine" this means receptive, or "Masculine" (Male/Female) attributed to a variety of references. Think of the male/female terminology used for electrical or plumbing connections. When referring to Feminine and Masculine energies as they apply to planets, Tarot cards, points on the Tree of Life, or stones many carry either the "giving or receiving" energies. Female is receptive, Male is giving.

There are a couple of ways to cleanse the crystal before charging. Always wash the stone first. Then bury the crystal in the ground for a month to allow any qualified energy to disapate into the earth. Another is to get a bowl of pottery or glass (not metal or plastic), pour some sea salt in the bowl. Place the crystal, or stone in the bowl and cover it with sea salt. Leave the stone in the salt for at least 24 hours. Then hold the stone or crystal and make your affirmation as to the specific energy it is charged to magnify.

	Amber	One of the attributes of Amber is settling the stomach, or the 3rd Chakra. It is recommended for releasing emotional karma, and is good for manifesting illumination.
	Amethyst	This is a stone associated with the Crown Chakra. It empowers the user to tune into intuition, dreams, meditation, and helps one in defense against psychic manipulation.
	Apache Tear Obsidian	This stone assists in grounding. Its energies are also good for protection.
	Apatite	This stone assists in coordination on mental, physical, and spiritual levels.
	Aquamarine	This stone is very calming, clearing the way for inspirational thoughts.
	Aventurine	Assists in keeping the ego in check which enables the user to validate information provided by their higher self. Provides an environment for better decision making based on inner truth rather than outside influences.
	Azurite	Helps one face fears, overcoming anxieties, and is a stone associated used for its healing energies.

	Crysocolla	Clears the mind, helps dissipate negativity.
	Crysoprase	Helps calm the temper. Has the energy of peace, and opens clairvoyance.
	Diamond	This is the ultimate crystal. It can be charged for protection and power. It is an emotional healer (ask any man who has given a diamond when saying "I'm sorry.")
	Dolomite	Defeats the energies of fear.
	Emerald	This stone has the energy of tranquility. It is very calming, and is a stone of success in business and financial dealings. It also helps the user to focus on the values which are important for a well lived life.
	Florite	Florite is said to help one retrieve past life memories. It is also used to block energy drains on the aura. This is a very good stone for those who perform energy healings.
	Healing Crystal	This picture is a representative of a couple of the many crystals available. Crystals can be charged by affirmation for a particular purpose. The cleansing of a crystal is the same for the cleansing of any other stone.
	Hematite	Blackish stones (and candles) are for breaking up negative energy. Hematite is a magnetic stone, and is used for attracting positive experiences, people, and places to the user.

	Jasper	This is a stone that has more of a feminine energy. Jasper is a receptive stone for gathering energy. For instance you can charge Jasper to gather energy for healing specific issues or physical concerns.
	Kunzite	This stone has an energy which provides a clearing for Divine Guidance.
	Kyanite	This stone resonates to the 6th Chakra, providing an environment condusive to dreams and visions.
	Lapis Lazuli	This stone is a very powerful stone, and was used a great deal in Ancient Egypt. It is a stone which resonates at the vibratory rate of wisdom, mental clarity, and inner truth.
	Larimar	Helps balance energies, such as over-reacting, and impulsiveness.
	Moldavite	This stone clears the way for inter-dimensional travel.

	Red Garnet	This stone helps the user to tune into Universal Love, neutrality, and devotion. It helps the user to develop true self-confidence, overcoming illusional successes with true successes.
	Rhodochrosite	Assists in balancing the Ying/Yang or Male/Female attributes. Especially good for one that is either too aggressive, or too submissive.
	Ruby	Provides courage to face life's challenges. It is a protector of estates.
	Sapphire	This stone can be found in every color with the exception of Red. Each color has its own particular attributes. The blue helps the user tune into the 6th Chakra. Yellow the 3rd Chakra, Pink resonates to the heart chakra. When brown it is useful for grounding. White is good for protection and cleansing. The star sapphire is promotes connection with inner wisdom.
